How we write

glowsouq.pk is a shop: we buy original beauty products in Dubai and deliver them anywhere in Pakistan. Our blog covers skincare, routines and how to spot fakes. This page explains how its posts are written, checked and kept up to date.

Who writes the posts

Every post names its author, with a link to a page about them. The author is responsible for what the post says.

Before a post goes live

Our blog tool won't publish a post until the author confirms that:

  • it has something we tried, tested or saw ourselves, not only what others say;
  • its facts are checked: prices, ingredients and claims match the brand or another reliable source.

Every picture in a post also needs a written description, for people who use screen readers, unless it is only there for decoration.

Help from AI tools

We may use AI writing tools to help with a first draft or with editing. A person always adds what we tried or saw ourselves and checks the facts, and the named author stands behind every post.

Expert review

When an expert has checked a post, it says "Reviewed by" under the title, with their name and the day they checked it. A post without that line hasn't had an expert review.

Our posts share what we have learned as a beauty shop. They are not medical advice: for a skin condition or a reaction, see a doctor.

Products and prices

We sell many of the products we write about, and our posts link to them. The product cards and "Shop this post" show prices from our shop, but a post can show an older price for a while, for example just after a sale ends. Your bag shows the price you pay, and delivery options and charges for your address show at checkout.

Dates and corrections

Each post shows the day it was published. When we change what a post says, it also shows the day of that update; fixing a typo or a broken link doesn't change it.

If something in a post looks wrong, contact us and we'll check it.
